Modern MTBs often do without additional threads on the frame for weight or design reasons. At the same time, there is a growing need for clever transport solutions - especially for trail, bikepacking or e-MTB use. This is where the Universal Cage Mount comes in: a simple system that utilises existing frame structures instead of relying on fixed mounting points.
The centrepiece is a Universal adapter plate with standard holes for bottle cages (hole spacing: 64 mm). This is not screwed on, but attached via a Wide, silicone-coated Velcro tape directly to the frame. The system combines two aspects:
This allows accessories to be positioned where they are needed - regardless of the mounts provided at the factory.
It is attached using a single, adjustable Velcro strap. This can be adapted to different tube diameters and even shortened if necessary. The system is suitable for frame tubes between 27.2 mm and 80 mm diameter - a range that covers both classic MTB frames and e-bike down tubes. An integrated, soft pad protects the paintwork and provides additional grip at the same time.

This makes the system suitable not only for classic trail rides, but also for bikepacking or commuting.
The Universal Cage Mount follows a simple but practical approach: more mounting options without conversion or special frame solutions. The system can be a useful addition, especially for modern bikes with limited mounts. Its strength lies in its versatility. Quick installation, flexible positioning and compatibility with existing accessories - this makes the adapter interesting for touring riders, commuters and trail bikers alike.
