If you want to plan ahead for a longer ride, it’s best to recharge in good time.

The burn time of three hours and 15 minutes is practical, but the charging time of four hours is comparatively rather long. In this respect, the Lezyne requires more patience than the average model in the test. For everyday use, this isn’t a deal-breaker, but for spontaneous evening rides, you shouldn’t wait until just before setting off to plug the light in.

At 109.95 euros, including the standard and GoPro mounts, the Macro 500+ Front Reverse It’s mid-range in terms of price. In return, Lezyne offers a well-thought-out all-round package for cyclists who don’t want to clutter up their cockpit with clamps or rubber bands.

The combination of a sturdy mount, high-quality housing and an even light pattern is particularly impressive. With a final score of 2.1, the Lezyne ranks among the top performers in the test.
