The new bike lock from Zefal comes as a special lightweight: at just 86 grams and compact dimensions, the K-Traz Zip3 made for the jersey pocket. Despite its compact size, the lock fulfils security standards and is designed to be the ideal companion for tours and short stops along the way. The focus here is on securing bike accessories.
The K-Traz Zip3 is a self-locking lock with code locking (3 digits, corresponding to 1000 possible combinations). The Zip lock is equipped with an 11 mm wide flat band with a steel core that secures the bike or its accessories, such as the helmet or luggage. But the wheels, saddle or other parts of the bike can also be secured with the handy bike lock from Zefal.
In the city, the Zefal K-Traz Zip3 bike lock is a practical addition to a main lock, such as a chain or U-lock. Thanks to the low weight of the lock, it can be easily stowed in a jersey pocket or frame bag. According to Zefal, the bike lock provides particularly good protection against opportunist theft during very short stopovers - in other words, the classic situation where thieves take the opportunity to simply push your beloved bike round the corner into a garage. And it's gone. This is now a thing of the past, because with a length of 45 cm, the Zefal bike lock can also be used to secure the bike to sign posts or similar.
According to the manufacturer Zefal, the K-Traz Zip3 is characterised by the following features:
The Zefal K-Traz Zip3 is now available. The Zip bike lock costs 22.95 euros.
