If you have diabetes, you should not accept it as it is. After all, a healthy diet adapted to diabetes and a healthy amount of exercise can have a positive influence on the course of the disease. Sport reduces weight, strengthens the psyche and the immune system, lowers blood pressure and ensures social contact.
Regular endurance sports help to prevent secondary diseases such as high blood pressure. Alongside swimming and running, cycling is ideal for diabetics. Of course, you can't just start cycling. But if you inform yourself, listen to your body and don't overexert yourself, you can pedal regularly.
