Weissbier in the beverage check
Adulterated beer imitation or isotonic miracle cocktail? Non-alcoholic wheat beer has been a trendy drink among athletes for years. What makes German biathlon stars fast should also revitalise tired biker legs.

These four non-alcoholic wheat beers had to undergo the beverage check:
- Schneider Weisse non-alcoholic
- Franziskaner non-alcoholic wheat beer
- Erdinger Weißbräu non-alcoholic
- Paulaner non-alcoholic yeast wheat beer

You can find the results of the drinks check below as a free PDF download.

Using the world's largest marathon study, Be-MaGIC*, scientists at the Technical University of Munich have demonstrated the positive effects of non-alcoholic wheat beer on the immune system. The polyphenols contained in the beer have an anti-inflammatory effect and prevent colds. Some of the 277 test subjects drank up to 1.5 litres of Erdinger Alkoholfrei per day. Their inflammation parameters were significantly lower than those of the placebo group.
