Smoothies in a quick check
Practical, handy and healthy: no supermarket counter is complete without smoothies. BIKE tested the contents of the fruit drinks.

Can the fruity bottles really replace fresh fruit and vegetables? Only partially - if you look at the labels of the five drinks. BIKE did some in-depth reading.

You can find the test results of these smoothies in the free PDF download below:

Study: Fruit and vegetables against strokes and cancer

"Five a day", even children learn. However, eating fruit and vegetables alone does not reduce the risk of cancer to the extent that has often been assumed. According to a representative US study*, 400 grams a day only reduces the risk of cancer by nine per cent. On the other hand, eating colourful fruit is effective in preventing strokes: those who eat a lot of it have a 26 per cent lower risk of stroke than those who refuse to eat fruit.
