Muesli variations
Replace your daily bread with delicious muesli variations. We have prepared two morning energisers for you.

500 hp in your legs, but the petrol tank is empty down to the last drop. Who hasn't experienced this when breakfast once again only consists of a cup of coffee? A big mistake: Your muscles and nerves demand a balanced breakfast, because during sleep the body's energy and nutrient reserves are depleted even without physical exertion.

Scientific studies show that the right meal in the morning increases performance and concentration. That's why at least a little something for breakfast is a must. Without replenished energy reserves, the demands of the day can hardly be met - be it for concentration at work or during bike training. But there's no need for boredom to set in on the breakfast plate. BIKE has put together two muesli variations that will take you away from the daily grind, at least in culinary terms.

THE VITAMIN BOOST

Attention, vitamin bomb: strengthen your immune system with sea buckthorn and orange. Ingredients: 4 tbsp oat flakes, 1 tbsp chopped cashew nuts, 1 orange cut into pieces, 1 tbsp quark, 3 tbsp milk, 1 tsp honey, 2 tbsp sea buckthorn juice. Preparation: Mix orange and cashews with flakes. Mix the quark, milk, sea buckthorn and honey and pour over the muesli. THE

INKA BREAKFAST

It doesn't always have to be oat flakes. With its amaranth muesli, Allos has dedicated itself to the South American grain (see "Why don't you try ...", top right). Because there is far more in these small grains than in some local cereals. The staple food of the Incas is available from Allos in seven muesli variations. Price: from around 4 euros (500 g).
