Theragun massage guns: The new models in detail

Theragun Pro Plus
According to the manufacturer, the Theragun Pro Plus* is the most innovative multi-therapy massager in its portfolio. It was developed to enable even more efficient recovery and deep relaxation and to promote physical and mental performance enhancement.
The Pro Plus is equipped with 6 different therapies. The Theragun Pro Plus offers the following treatment methods and features:
- Infrared LED light therapy: Penetrates muscles and joints to stimulate blood circulation and promote healing
- Vibration treatment: For direct treatment of joints and more sensitive areas
- Heat therapy: Accelerates warm-up and improves mobility
- Cold therapy: Reduces swelling and inflammation that can cause pain (sold separately)
- Breathing exercise protocols: Haptic vibrations indicate when to inhale and exhale
- Integrated heart rate monitor: Can be used in conjunction with the in-house app and is designed to reduce stress symptoms via the available routines
- Percussive therapy: Deep tissue massages through to light pressure massages, with the aim of optimising pain therapy and relieving tension.
Theragun Sense
According to Therabody, the Sense model combines scientifically proven percussive massage therapy to relieve pain and discomfort, release tension, reduce stress and improve sleep. The integrated LCD screen can be used to control the massage speed and force. It displays step-by-step massage routines directly on the device. The Theragun Sense has an in-built heart rate monitor that measures the user's heart rate to show the benefits of the massage and breathing exercises. Combined with the free routines and content in the Therabody app, it can lower the heart rate and reduce stress - with moderate massage intensity.
Theragun Relief
The Theragun Relief is the entry-level model. It offers a comfortable massage for every day. Its ease of use and quick and effective relief for everyday pain, tension and stiffness make it a massage all-rounder. It is designed to be light, effective and quiet - ideal for everyday use. The three attachments - Dampener, Standard Ball and Thumb - can be used to treat different areas of the body, from large muscles to sensitive, delicate areas.
