For emergencies: a bracelet that saves lives
A lot can happen when mountain biking. Especially if you are travelling alone, you should take precautions in case of an emergency. The RSQ-ID Loop offers a solution.

Mountain biking is sometimes dangerous. Not just for the riders in downhill competitions or slopestyle events. The average mountain biker is also in danger more often than they might realise. This is especially true for solo riders. When the frame or handlebars break on the descent, when you hit extremely slippery spots, or simply when you miscalculate.

It's a horror scenario. A mountain biker alone in the forest, seriously injured and unconscious. A hiker may be able to call the emergency services, but who the mountain biker is or, more importantly, what blood group and allergies he has, is not usually written on his forehead. Yet it is precisely this kind of information that can save lives in an emergency. The RSQ-ID Loop offers a solution to this problem.

Customers can engrave their blood group and allergies, chronic illnesses or simply an emergency telephone number and a name. Or simply a friendly motivational message. The bracelet is made of durable and skin-friendly silicone and is available in several colours. It may not be the first of its kind, but we think it's a nice idea. And in times of data-hungry electronic helpers, it's really nice and analogue. Available for just under 9 euros at www.rsq-id.de.

Adrian Kaether's favourite thing to do is ride mountain bikes on bumpy enduro trails. The tech expert and bike tester knows all about Newton metres and watt hours, high and low-speed damping. As test manager at MYBIKE, Adrian also likes to think outside the box and tests cargo bikes and step-through bikes as well as the latest (e-)MTBs.
