Amazfit brings the Bip Max a smartwatch for anyone who is just starting to exercise regularly. The watch tracks activities, shows progress and reminds you to take a break. The housing is stabilised by an aluminium alloy frame. On board: 150 sports modes - from walking to jogging and cycling to swimming.
The AMOLED display measures 2.07 inches and achieves a brightness of 3000 nits. This brightness makes it easy to read in direct sunlight and indoors. The user interface is based on Zepp OS 5.0 and the font size can be adjusted via six levels. Users can choose from different watch faces and place important information directly on the home screen.
The Bip Max creates personalised training plans via Zepp Coach. The function takes the current fitness level into account and adapts the load accordingly. An integrated training library provides access to professional instructions. The watch is compatible with platforms such as Runna and TrainingPeaks, allowing users to train under the guidance of external coaches. Performance analyses record running technique metrics and ground contact time.
The smartwatch records fitness and fatigue over monthly, weekly and daily periods. BioCharge updates the physical and mental energy level every minute. This data is intended to help decide whether training on the current day makes sense or should be postponed. Sleep monitoring algorithms provide insights into sleep quality, stress levels and nervous system fatigue. Health reports can be created with just one click.
The Bip Max offers 4 GB of storage space for apps, music and podcasts. The available capacity is lower due to the preallocation of the system. Users can install sports and lifestyle apps to expand the range of functions. Offline storage enables training without a smartphone. Offline maps and turn-by-turn navigation with warning messages when deviating from the route support outdoor activities. The watch manages sports equipment and records the wear and tear of running shoes, for example.
The 550 mAh battery lasts up to 20 days with normal use. With more intensive use, the battery life is reduced to up to 10 days. The watch continuously monitors activity and recovery without requiring frequent recharging. A circular polarised GPS function is designed to improve positioning during all-day outdoor activities.
