With a ready-to-ride weight of 13.15 kilograms, the Canyon is still only in the midfield, which is due to the rather heavy carbon frame and the solid choice of tyres. Canyon also plays it safe with the brakes, specifying more powerful Sram Code brakes instead of the somewhat underpowered G2.
