Apart from our reference bike, the Neuron CF9 SL is the most expensive bike in this comparison at 4799 euros. However, the German mail-order company doesn't let itself get carried away and equips its trail bike with truly outstanding components. The bike shifts with a wireless Sram GX AXS, has Fox Factory suspension and rolls on lightweight carbon wheels from DT Swiss. What more could you want? Only the Cube Stereo can compete with this impeccable line-up. With a ready-to-ride weight of 13.15 kilograms, the Canyon is still only in the midfield, which is due to the rather heavy carbon frame and the solid choice of tyres. Canyon also plays it safe with the brakes, specifying more powerful Sram Code brakes instead of the somewhat underpowered G2.
The most expensive trail bike in the comparison shines with excellent equipment and can do everything at a very good level, even if it doesn't deliver any superlatives either uphill or downhill. A classic trail bike with a wide range of uses.
