The Bergamont is optimised for tough trail use. With 160 mm travel at the fork and 145 mm at the rear, combined with 29-inch wheels and 2.6-inch downhill tyres, the E-Trailster is extremely forgiving. The short top tube ensures an upright riding position, while the 462 mm chainstays, which are quite short for a twentyniner, promise agility on the trail. Presumably due to the very favourable price, you only have to compromise on weight: At a heavy 24.9 kg, the Bergamont occupies a lonely top spot.

Canyon Spectral:On WMN 7.0

The Spectral:on is the only mail-order bike in the field to be offered in five frame sizes from XS to XL. The smallest frame uses 27.5" wheels with 2.6" tyres, while all other sizes combine 29" wheels on the fork with 27.5" wheels at the rear. All sizes have 150 mm of suspension travel in common, meaning that the bike is also equipped for tougher trail use. The very short 430 mm chainstays harmonise well with the smaller sizes and make the handling very playful.

Cube Sting Hybrid 120 HPC SL 500 Kiox

The Cube Sting Hybrid 120 is more optimised for touring use, offering 120 mm travel at the front and rear. At 490 mm, the longest chainstays in the field ensure good directional stability and good climbing characteristics for the target group. The relatively short reach, which leads to an upright, centralised riding position, also fits in with this. The 16-inch frame is fitted with 27.5-inch wheels, while 29-inch wheels are used in the other sizes. Top: very small frame sizes with short seat tubes available.

Liv Intrigue E+1 Pro

For most other suppliers, 27.5" wheels are only an option for the smallest frame size. With the Liv Intrigue, this wheel size is used in all frames. Both the rims and the 2.6 inch wide Enduro tyres are already prepared for tubeless operation. The combination of 150 mm travel at the fork and 140 mm at the rear ensures good performance on tougher trails. The relatively long 470 mm chainstays dampen the agility a little, and the Liv is no lightweight.

Simplon Steamer Compact GX1 Eagle

The Simplon Steamer Compact is not really a women's bike, but is explicitly optimised for smaller riders. Consequently, the bike is only available in the three frame sizes XS / S / M. The very low weight of 21.4 kg for an e-bike is a pleasant feature. Wheels with a diameter of 27.5 inches are also used on all frame sizes, combined with 2.6-inch plus tyres. The 130 mm suspension makes the Simplon particularly suitable for playful trails. This use also benefits from the fairly short 430 mm chainstays.
