Saving fun for everyone - touring fullys under 2000 euros
These full-suspension mountain bikes from Canyon, Carver, Ghost, Giant and Rose are not only easy on the wallet, but also provide plenty of off-road fun. Five touring full-suspension bikes under 2000 euros in the test.

Riding fun with full-suspension mountain bikes for less than 2000 euros - is that even possible? To answer this question, we invited five models to a comparison test. When looking at the trail bikes with 120-130 mm travel, we were positively surprised by the level of equipment - it's no secret that the equipment in the 2016 model year is usually worse than that of the bikes from 2015. Nevertheless, the suspension in this test group is solid and good.

The Continental and Schwalbe tyres on the Carver and Canyon even carry the Race Sport and Evolution labels respectively, setting them apart from the competition with their high-quality casing. All in all, the bikes are better than we expected, even if the average weight of 13.2 kilos is relatively high for trail bikes. The last trail bikes tested in BIKE 1/16 for around 3000 euros weigh only 400 grams less on average. In view of the price, the additional weight is therefore justifiable. Find out how the trail bikes and touring fullys fared in the BIKE lab and practical test in BIKE 4/2016.

The Rose Ground Control 1 is generously equipped with 130 mm of travel and can also be customised to individual requirements in Rose's bike configurator.
