Rocky Mountain: Update for the Thunderbolt Alu
Trail bike fans can rejoice: after the carbon model, Rocky Mountain is also updating the aluminium version of the Thunderbolt: 130 mm travel, a stiffer frame and two models from 2700-3300 euros.

After the Carbon models of the Thunderbolt in March 2018 Rocky Mountain now also offers the Thunderbolt in aluminium in a new way. The Canadians have designed a new aluminium frame for the trail bike. As with the carbon model, the rear suspension travel increases to 130 millimetres. The new aluminium frame of the 27.5-inch bike should be stiffer than that of its predecessor and a slightly flattened suspension curve of the rear triangle should make the chassis even better. In addition, the Ride9 adjustment system has been moved to the rear shock mount.
