Powerful range: Rose Elec Tec FS in check
Thanks to its large battery, the king of the range catapults itself to 3rd place in the ranking. Visually, the Rose is one of the most appealing bikes: very tidy with perfect battery integration.

Only the large display is somewhat exposed above the stem. The riding position is nicely balanced and the handling is neutral. Uphill, the rear suspension is firmer than the competition, with crisp progression. The Mondraker can leave it behind, but not the other bikes. The Rose is less sensitive than the Cube, for example, when it comes to smoothing out thick edges. The motor is noticeably weaker than the Bosch and feels even weaker than the Shimano. All of the testers also wished for more comfort at the rear when going downhill - however, more sag (over 30%) led to slight bottoming out. Nevertheless, the Elec Tec had a pleasant and balanced ride overall. It follows steering commands directly and jumps well. When braking and cornering, the front tyre lacks a little traction.

Conclusion: A very stylish bike with a large battery and very good range. The rear end is a little too progressive and firm. On the other hand, the geo is successful and the handling is good.
