Playful on the trails: Bixs Sign X in an individual test
The Sign X has everything that makes a sporty trail bike: weight, chassis and equipment leave nothing to be desired.

The Hostettler Group brand is probably only known to very few people. However, the Swiss can look back on twenty years of experience in the bike industry. From the extensive model range, which extends from race hardtail to enduro, the Sign X is the top model in the trail bike series, which costs just under 8,000 euros. With 130 millimetres at the front and 124 at the rear, Bixs puts an all-rounder on the Onza tyres, which only just exceeds the twelve-kilo mark without pedals. The full carbon frame alone weighs just 2185 grams.

Find out how the Bixs Sign X performs on the trail in the test from BIKE 9/2021, which you can conveniently download as a PDF below.

The test costs 0.99 euros. Why not free of charge? Because quality journalism has a price. In return, we guarantee independence and objectivity. This applies in particular to the tests in BIKE. We don't pay for them, but the opposite is the case: we charge for them, hundreds of thousands of euros every year.
