Norco is launching the Torrent FS, a completely newly developed plus bike. It has 140 millimetres of suspension travel at the front and 130 millimetres at the rear. With its 2.8-inch wide Maxxis tyres, it is aimed at all-mountain riders who want a lot of traction and control. The aluminium frame has the Boost standard to ensure sufficient tyre clearance. This also allows the chainstays to be kept short.
There will be two different models and a frame set. The more affordable Norco Torrent FS A7.2 costs 2599 euros and comes with a Rock Shox Sektor fork, metric Deluxe RT shock and Sram NX drivetrain. The 1000 euro more expensive Torrent FS A7.1 has a DVO Diamond fork, a DVO Topaz shock and a Sram GX drivetrain. Both bikes have a Vario seatpost.
The Norco Fluid FS+ marks the entry into the Canadian trail-fully world. It rolls on 2.8 inch wide plus tyres to provide plenty of traction and safety. The frame has been adapted to the wider tyres and now has relatively long 450 mm chainstays and a playful 425 mm reach (frame size medium). The trail bike has 130 millimetres of suspension travel at the front and 120 millimetres at the rear.
The more affordable Norco Fluid FS 7.2+ costs 1799 euros and comes with a Rock Shox Sektor fork, X Fusion shock and Shimano Deore drivetrain with 11-40 cassette. The 400 euro more expensive Fluid FS 7.1+ comes with a Rock Shox Sektor fork, Monarch shock and Sram NX drivetrain. The two entry-level models also have a Vario seatpost.
