An independent battery, its own display and remote variants, a sleek look and a concept that escapes the standardisation of many e-MTBs: the new Levo has set the bar high for the competition. The top version also has an elegant carbon frame and a generous 700 watt hours of capacity. Nevertheless, the Turbo Levo S-Works remains a real lightweight at under 21 kilos. And: The riding characteristics are excellent. Shortcoming: With a price of 10999 euros, it will probably remain a dream for many bikers.
In EMTB 3/19 we have the Specialised Turbo Levo Comp for 5799 Euro against seven other touring and trail eMTBs between 4300 and 5700 euros. Can the Levo convince with its aluminium frame, 500 watt-hour battery and affordable components? Or do other manufacturers deliver more E-MTB fun in this price range?
