The Xduro was the only bike with two chainrings at the front and a Yamaha motor. In terms of power, it feels on a par with Bosch, but delivers its power more roughly.

The second gear lever clutters up the cockpit without the wider gear spread providing a noticeable advantage. Nevertheless, the Haibike was one of the favourites when it came to the technical climbs on the test lap: good traction thanks to top tyres, a sensitive rear end and a balanced riding position. The very grippy Magic Mary tyres and smooth geometry also lifted the bike to one of the top ranks downhill. It wasn't quite as manoeuvrable as the Ghost and not quite as safe as the Cube, but it was still a success. The riding fun was only limited by the Fox 34 with the simple shock cartridge, which only offered a mediocre compromise between sensitive spring action and sufficient compression damping. It passes fast hits through to the rider.

Conclusion: With good gearing and a sensitive rear end, the Haibike is almost poaching on the enduro scene. Visually a little untidy, but with good handling both up and down.
