Of all the bikes tested, the Focus Spine has the longest reach, i.e. the most stretched and therefore sportiest riding position.

The tallest tester, at 1.77 metres, particularly liked this. Thanks to the Conti tyres, the Focus rolls well, is agile and has good cornering grip. The rear worked very efficiently on hard descents, but unfortunately the fork sagged quickly. In combination with the rather narrow handlebars and the flattened wing grips, the bike unfortunately didn't feel very safe to ride. The 30 t chainring with 1 x 11 gears could be exhausting on a long climb.

Conclusionsolid touring bike for women who are mainly travelling in low mountain ranges and prefer easy trail descents.

AlternativeThe Spine C Lite is the unisex model, with a longer top tube, XT and carbon frame. Price: 3499 euros.
