We recorded this 8-day Transalp tour electronically for the first time using a new type of device. This means that kilometres and altitude data were automatically saved and transferred to an altitude profile. This means that the data is extremely precise. Unfortunately, we had problems with the new device three times during the tour, partly because the programming had not yet been optimised and partly because we had not yet mastered the device perfectly. As we also had a normal bike computer with us on the tour, we added its values to the short problem areas so that you can find a complete guide here. In the sections to the Heilbronner Hütte, at the Madritschjoch and shortly before Madonna die Campiglio, however, the kilometres may contain minor errors. We apologise for this. The problems with the electronic recording device have now been completely resolved, so that in future you will receive the BIKE-Spotguides and Transalp tours with unprecedented precision.
