Flow trails don't want to scare anyone or send them into the abyss, they invite you to play. Even beginners can simply roll through these trails without having to fear a tricky surprise after the next bend. Advanced riders can romp through built berms, over kickers and doubles. Real experts even recognise the lines of the trail builder. Good trail designers draw the curves of a flow trail so sensitively into the slope that you theoretically wouldn't even need the brakes - if you hit the line. You pick up speed on doubles, tables and jumps, while the berms reliably guide you through the bends. But it's a long way to this absolute trail mastery. This also explains why flow trails are so popular with bikers of all skill levels. In a DIMB survey, 75 per cent of respondents stated that they prefer to ride on flowing trails. In this special, we have compiled the most beautiful flow trails in Germany, the Alps and Europe.
