Munich has a new café for cyclists
Bikedress.de opens the Monaco Velo Club, Munich's first cycling café, next to its bike clothing boutique in Ohlmüllerstraße.

Modelled on the London café "look mum no hands", Heiko Wild, owner of the cycling boutique Bikedress.comThe newly opened Monaco Velo Club aims to establish a piece of cycling culture in Munich. The café in Ohlmüllerstraße (near the Reichenbachbrücke bridge over the Isar) is intended to serve as a trendy meeting place for joint bike rides. The retro racing bikes on display and the clothes advertised are mainly aimed at racing cyclists, but some of the pictures in the sales rooms show owner Heiko Wild at the Cape Epic, among other things. The coffee specialities, various snacks and the ice cream on offer taste just as good to mountain bikers as they do to road cyclists. Anyone who joins the Monaco Velo Club by purchasing a jersey set will receive a free cappuccino when they visit the café before or after their bike ride.
