Is this the longest flow trail in Europe?
The BIKE test team was travelling in Saxony and the Czech Republic for BIKE 11/2017 and came across this seemingly endless flow trail: the Rubin Trail in the Trailpark Klinovec. [Video]

In order tor Trail bike test field for BIKE 11/2017 we went on a short round trip along the Czech-Saxon border. With its numerous new trail and bike parks, the east of the republic is quietly turning into a Mecca for single trail fans. Not only can you enjoy first-class MTB trails in the well-known Rabenberg and Pod Smrkem trail centres, but also in Elstra, Klinovec and Schöneck, where the hand-built trails make bikers' hearts beat faster.

The highlight of our road trip was the newly renovated Trailpark Klínovec. In addition to a challenging downhill route, children and less experienced bikers will get their money's worth on the newly created flow trails. Trail artist Tomas Kvasnicka has conjured up two seemingly endless descents (see video below) on the slope. While the Azur Trail follows the Pod Smrkem model and makes it easier to get into the bike park without any jumps, the Rubin Trail is also fun for experienced bike park riders. The faster you ride on the eight-kilometre trail, the more challenging the crushed sand slope becomes. All the waves can be rolled over or jumped, which makes the ride extremely fun. A descent on the Rubin Trail takes around 15 minutes. The chairlift takes bikers back to the trail entrance in 13 minutes. If you want to conquer the 500 metres in altitude under your own steam, it takes around 50 minutes on the forest road. This autumn, an additional the new Baron Trail be finished.

German downhill champion Max Hartenstern also trains regularly in the Klinovec trail park.
