Across all mountains
Jochen Melse and Max Kroneck have always been outdoor freaks and mountain enthusiasts. An ambitious idea was born on a joint tour: cycling and skiing across the Alps.
Mesle and Kroneck want to cross the Alps, but completely without a motor: no car, no train, no lift, just under their own steam, starting from their front door. Cycle to the mountain, ski to the summit, cycle on the next day. Each bike with self-catering luggage and ski equipment weighs over 50 kilos. On their way along the western main ridge of the Alps to the Côte d'Azur, they create impressive images, a gripping story and a multi-award-winning film. Documentary film.
