We have squeezed out these trail suggestions from our editors, test riders and photographers to present you with THE favourite trails of the enduro faction:

1st Hill Bill | Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis - photo above

Favourite trail of Laurin Lehner, FREERIDE editor

"You want enduro? You'll get the full load on the Hill Bill. But beware: the trail requires the precision of a surgeon. At least if you leave the throttle on. The track is fast, rooty, wide, narrow, undulating, steep, tricky, and even has stunts for aerial inserts. No other track is so complete and full of variety. And that's what the enduro spirit is all about, isn't it? However, one aspect is lost here: there are no uphills. That's just fine with me."

2nd Tuttifrutti, Valle di Fassa/Dolomites

Favourite trail of Wolfgang Watzke, FREERIDE tester and photographer

"The spotters of the Enduro World Series look for the coolest trails in the world. One of them is the Tuttifrutti trail. In the upper part, you're hurtling over a ridge. You're riding the film, because it's so surreal. Before your eyes: the Sella poles and Marmolada, the most beautiful mountains in the world. The trail is hard and rough at the top, but becomes increasingly flowy. Especially when it dives into the forest and runs on earth instead of rock and stone. In addition to the amazing panorama, I was impressed by the versatility of the Tuttifrutti trail. It has everything I could wish for. It's not just fast and full throttle, but often also technical and tricky, not just straightline, but also jagged and twisty. There's a clip about the trail on Red Bull TV."

3rd Canadian, Freiburg

Peter Nilges | BIKE Test Manager

"The Canadian has become something of a figurehead for Freiburg. The varied and at the same time flowing trail is a successful example of the fact that there are also ingenious, legal routes directly connected to the city centre. What's more, the trail is said to have cost only 12,000 euros and a lot of commitment from its Canadian builders and locals. The upper part of the Kybfelsen (section 0) is the sportiest due to the loose scree, after that it gets smoother and smoother."

4th Pino Morto

Dimitri Lehner | FREERIDE Editor-in-Chief

"Finale Ligure is an enduro goldmine. It's no wonder that EWS races are regularly held here and it's no wonder that we keep travelling to Finale to test bikes. Because you can't go far wrong with these Finale trails: Toboga di Canova, H-Trail, Madonna della Guardia, Rollercoaster, DH Uomini - they're all classics by now. I like the Pino Morto. It may be short, but it has a few jumps. It's a great change of pace and, as an airtime fan, I particularly enjoy it. My tip: go in the low season, when the small town on the Mediterranean is still quiet and tranquil, without the hustle and bustle of tourists and traffic jams on the shuttle bus."

5. Holy Hansen/Latsch

Stefan Frey | BIKE Editor

"It's always said that the overall package has to be right. That applies to the Holy Hansen. Even the short uphill (approx. 200 metres) fits into the concept because it's not too strenuous. And then it's a nice long downhill - with lots of variety: first winding through the forest on soft coniferous ground with lots of bumps. You are rocked in all directions, can incorporate off-road jumps and work on your turning technique. Then it gets steeper. There are even a few drops in the trail. Towards the end, the Heilige Hans becomes increasingly flowy with easy double jumps - great!"

6th Haideralm

Max Fuchs | BIKE Editor

"No question: the Haideralm trail is the coolest in the whole of Reschen. This is where the 3-country enduro trails show what they are made of. From nasty root carpets and rocky passages to nasty steep descents, you'll find everything that real enduro riders want. Under the bombardment of technical obstacles, maximum concentration is constantly required. You will only get your money's worth here if you have a certain amount of riding ability. If you can manage that, the trail not only spits a good dose of adrenalin into your blood, but also happiness hormones."

7th Arzler Alm

Chris Schleker | FREERIDE-Tester

"When I heard that there was going to be a new trail in Innsbruck, I thought: 'Oh, more vertrider stamps'. But I was pleasantly surprised! The Arzler Trail is a hand-crafted flow trail gem with berms, jumps and a length that will leave your thighs and arms burning if you don't take a break. However, it is also narrow and therefore not without danger. Some of the jumps are challenging, but can always be avoided. If you want, you can do part of the ascent by train, but you have to pedal 200 metres in altitude."

8 .haymaking trails

Ludwig Döhl | BIKE EditorGravity-Card

"I grew up in the Altmühltal and love the trails that meander along the slopes to the left and right of the river. Most of them are natural, ultra-narrow and require sensitive movements on the bike. Germany's biggest enduro races have been held on the Heumödern trails near Treuchtlingen. In terms of sheer length, the trails don't stand a chance against those in the Alps, but they are extremely fun, varied and the journey is manageable."
