The 6 best bike parks for the weekend
There are various bike parks in the A-CH-I border triangle that are perfect for a weekend trip: Here are the six best MTB parks in this region - all the news and information on opening times, routes and prices.

Taking the lift to the western summit - if you wanted to ride the legendary Hacklberg Trail, you had to climb the last few metres to the western summit yourself. That is now history: in future, there will be not just four, but six cable cars in operation. The large kids' area has also been extended once again. One of the reasons: Fabio Wibmer is expected to attend the opening.

Bike Republic Sölden

Olm-Völle-Line - if you've been thinking of the Bike Republic in Ötztal as a pure flow trail family paradise, you'll be rubbing your eyes this summer. Australian trail-building legend Glen Jacobs was allowed to immortalise himself on this new, double-black steep descent. For experts only! Also new: the Fernar Trail. The nature trail starts spectacularly and tricky at the Tiefenbach glacier and ends after 815 metres in altitude in Gaislach.

Livigno

80 per cent of guests: bikers - since 2004, trail builders have been able to let off steam around the Italian village in the main Alpine ridge. The result is not only the two bike parks Mottolino and Carosello 3000, but also a huge network of flow trails all around. It is even possible to go on high-alpine rides lasting several days into the neighbouring Engadin and Val Poschiavo valleys. You have to experience it, despite the complicated journey!

Routes 66 km
Lift / day ticket 4 cable cars / 39 euros (valid in both parks)
