I could actually be riding it right now, my favourite trail. But instead, I'm sitting here at my computer, cycling it again in my mind and jabbing my memory into the keyboard with my index finger. And with my left. Because I broke my right arm a few days ago while biking. Too bad, I would have loved to take part in the Trailfox in Flims again. The enduro race lasts three days and has now achieved cult status in Switzerland. The four different trail courses are not particularly difficult to ride, but you do need skill and a cat-like feel for the terrain to make a good time - especially for the night ride.
The Runca Trail starts at an altitude of 1350 metres and ends in Flims.
But my favourite is the Runca Trail. It starts at an altitude of 1350 metres, the "Runca-Höhe", and ends 270 metres lower down in Flims. I admit, it doesn't sound particularly exciting. But anyone who has ridden it knows what I'm raving about. Panorama, rounded bends, halfpipe, Northshore elements and wild nature - that's what the Runca Trail offers.
