Switzerland: Jura MTB crossing
In the west of Switzerland lies the Jura. With wild gorges and lonely plateaus, full of undiscovered trails. Vital Eggenberger, the Moser of Switzerland, took us on a tour from Basel to Geneva.

Situation report: We are in the west of Switzerland, somewhere between Basel and Geneva. In a mountain range that many people don't even know exists. No wonder, because there are no boastful mountains in the style of the Matterhorn & Co. or other attractions. And it was precisely this fact that endeared this godforsaken region to us from the very first pedal stroke. Our mission was instigated by a certain Vital Eggenberger, a mountain guide and Switzerland's best-known author of touring books. Not only will we be following his route over the next few days, but the pathfinder himself will be accompanying us on the third and fourth stages.

Exclusively for BIKE readers, we provide the GPX track data of the route for download.
