Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau - the triumvirate of the Alps dominates the mountains of the Bernese Oberland. The steep flanks rise imposingly above the village of Grindelwald, as if three men were crossing their arms. Bike guide Philipp finds a completely different metaphor in this image: "The monk is making sure that the Eiger doesn't get close to the Jungfrau." A task that is likely to be difficult for the middle peak given today's visibility. "Well then, I wish the Eiger a lot of fun with the girl!" Philipp calls into the fog and jokes: "But I know an even hotter one - right over there!" ...
After a short pushing section from the Scheidegg, a meadow trail crosses over to a track. Now we are on the edge of the world-famous men's ski run, the Lauberhorn downhill.
