A gift to us bikers, so to speak. But unfortunately not just for us. The trail is also used by hikers. Bikers with full-face helmets and big bikes may not be taken on the lift. With an open-face helmet and a single crown fork, on the other hand, you won't be classed as a hiker scare and are welcome. The descent winds gently down almost 870 metres in altitude from Piz Scalottas into the valley. The first part is the most fun. Here you descend on a slippery surface. This creates a lot of flow and suits beginners, while checkers can take their fingers off the brakes and glide down the towel-wide trail at V-Max. The second trail section is wider and flatter - here you also have to pedal from time to time. The trail is hardly really challenging, with just one or two sections requiring a little technical riding skill. Tip: Ride the trail during the week and preferably in the afternoon, when there are fewer hikers on the trail.
