Summer tourism is now also booming in the winter sports Eldorado of Verbier. The bike park with its respectable trail network has become a firm favourite in the biking scene. However, for those who prefer a quieter, more natural and epic experience, there is maximum trail enjoyment opposite on the other side of the valley.
However, it is important to realise that the Tour over the 2471 metre high Col de Mille is a high alpine trail adventure. Unlike the bike park opposite, you can't expect constantly groomed trails here. And no lift either. But you can expect a picture-book trail, our Supertrail No. 84.
Supertrail Col de Mille: The tour
In total, the round trip from Le Châble is 24.2 kilometres and 895 metres in altitude - if you take the post bus up to Moay. Otherwise, there are around nine kilometres with 850 metres of altitude difference. Tip: An overnight stay at the top of the Cabane de Mille is said to be worthwhile because of the special morning light!
