Border experience, that's exactly what the three-country tour is all about, even in the literal sense. Because on the four-day tour of the Alps through Austria, Italy and Switzerland, you cross national borders every few hours. Cheese platter in the morning, cappuccino for lunch, Sachertorte for coffee - often only the network operator logo on the mobile phone provides information about the current location. Three countries, three cultures, one experience. That was the idea of hotelier Harry Ploner, who created a unique experience tour together with colleagues in the Engadin, the Münstertal and Livigno. All the highlights of the Alpine region were woven into a picturesque 230 kilometres and 7300 metres of altitude difference. To ensure that nothing interferes with the flirtation with the stunning landscapes, the hosts take care of the luggage transport and fluff up the pillows. Adventure de luxe, admittedly. But the real highlight is the modular system. At breakfast, you can choose from two route lengths, depending on the weather and your mood.
