Giant tour: Stelvio Pass and Timmelsjoch Pass
Stelvio Pass and Timmelsjoch: opposite the Ortler, on a par with 48 hairpin bends. Conquer two legendary Alpine passes by road bike, then get on your bike and swallow the dust on world-class trails.

The idea of the Giant Tour is to conquer two of the most beautiful Alpine passes by road bike and then cycle down a world-class trail into the valley. This requires two bikes per person and a shuttle bus with driver. Due to the high altitude (snow), the project cannot be realised before high/late summer. There is too much traffic on the roads at weekends and in the high season - then you should avoid both options.

BIKE test director Christoph Listmann, TOUR editor Andreas Kublik and photographer Wolfgang Watzke took on the challenge: Cranking up the Stelvio Pass on a road bike and then riding down the Goldsee trail on a mountain bike. Then on to the Timmelsjoch and the same game again.
