The Brenta is a mountain range that Hollywood couldn't have dreamed up more beautifully: grey rocky peaks jutting into the sky like dragon's teeth. The Sfulmini downhill starts at an altitude of 2100 metres, on the Doss del Sabion, with a view of the Brenta Dolomites. It feels like a postcard has been stuck in front of your eyes.
The track first runs in alpine terrain far above the tree line and later dives into the forest. You should already have some freeride experience, but the Brenta Downhill is not as challenging as the downhill routes in Val di Sole or Paganella. Over a length of 4 kilometres and an altitude difference of 600 metres, there are wall rides, wooden bridges, jumps, off-road jumps, hip jumps and plenty of bends. The track ends at the Rifugio Prà Rodont at 1500 metres. Super: a fast 4-seater chairlift whisks bikers back up again quickly.
The Brenta Downhill was opened last year with very ambitious plans for the future. Four more routes are to be added this summer.
