Finale Ligure: 3 super tours on still unknown paths
Finale has been one of the biggest bike pilgrimage destinations for years. But while organic bikers usually ride the trail classics by shuttle, the E-MTB opens up new terrain.

Finale Ligure is a destination for the whole year. Even in winter, most of the trails are great to ride, the pubs are open and there is always something going on. The best way to get here is by car, it's only a few minutes from the motorway. There is also a railway station (Finale Ligure Marina), the nearest airport is Genoa. You can find almost everything you need for a perfect biking holiday on the Finale Outdoor Region website (www.finaleoutdoor.com) You can also have the whole trip organised and booked there from a single source.

FOR YOU CARD of the Finale Outdoor Region

For 10 euros, you can do something good for yourself and the region. In addition to the trail map (incl. 15 days access to the Outdooractive pro platform) and other benefits, you can support the maintenance of the trails. You can buy them in various shops, at the FOR (Finale Outdoor Region) info point or online and register here for more information. www.finaleoutdoor.com/card

Our personal "specials":

Hotels and accommodation

Hotel Florence in Finale Ligure directly on the road to Finalborgo: perfect for leaving the car in the evening and setting off on foot. There are garages for bikes and the car park is locked and monitored at night. The car park has a lot of charm Agriturismo Rose di Pietra in Pietra Ligure - a family business where the whole family really loves and lives mountain biking. The Accame brothers and their son Martino build trails, guide and offer courses. They also grow organic vegetables, which are sold in a small but excellent shop in the village. Locanda la Fortezza in Finale Ligure - for the extraordinary. Here you sleep within the old walls of the prison, with two cells forming one room. The restaurant there is of a very high standard, the view and the ambience are fantastic and a little eerie.

How do you like this article?

Camper have a good selection of pitches. The Eurocamping Villaggio Giuele is relatively central in the town centre. You can reach the centre or the beach promenade on foot in just a few minutes. A little further out, between the trails in Le Manie, are the Finale Freeride Outdoor Village and Camping San Martino.

Food & Drink

Tonino 2 in Finale Ligure: fast and delicious pizza. Limited space, so be sure to book or simply pick it up. La GrottePizzeria & Restaurant: If you want to dine on the seafront, this is the place for you. The food is delicious and the prices are still reasonable despite the good location. La GrottaLocalitá Manie: Lunch break while biking (directly on the trail), snack, coffee break or dinner. Great location, the grotto behind it is worth seeing. Always full, it makes sense to book.

Petricore in Finalborgo: sit directly on the pretty piazza in Finalborgo in front of the church and enjoy the finest cuisine. Top service, good wines, good advice. Rather high-priced. riviera outdoor bike beer an foodFinalborgo: bike shop, après-trail café. Iconic shop with snacks, beer, café etc. Bar Centrale in Finalborgo: probably the best ice cream in Finale.

Bar La Scarletta in Feglino under the motorway bridge: the classic after the classic trails, most of which end right here. Bastian Contrariodirectly on the main road with no pavement - get in quickly before the next car arrives - it's worth it. Certainly one of the absolute top restaurants in Finale Ligure. Cafe DinSandwich or coffee before the start of the trail? Then you've come to the right place. Starting point for many tours. Olio Frantoio Fratelli MagnoneThe active oil mill has a kind of factory outlet for oil and delicacies - a tip for all olive oil fans.
