The famous pass road circuit around the Sella massif - without the roar of engines and clouds of exhaust fumes. On 6 June, the 20th Sellaronda Bike Day will once again provide the opportunity to do just that. The four famous Dolomite passes Sella Pass, Gardena Pass, Pordoi Pass and Campolongo Pass will be closed to car and motorbike traffic between 8.30 am and 4 pm.
Around the Sella massif, cyclists of all categories set off in the towns of Selva, Corvara, Arabba and Canazei. These include record time hunters with Strava apps, military road fans, panorama connoisseurs or simply families who want to watch the international mix of cyclists pass by from the picnic blanket at the side of the road.
You have seven and a half hours to cover the 53 kilometres and 1650 metres of altitude on the complete tour. In the event of a breakdown, a mechanic's tent with mechanics is available at every pass, and there are also first aid and shuttle stations should your strength dwindle prematurely. To ensure that the riders can easily ride alongside each other, the organisers ask that the route is always tackled in an anti-clockwise direction. This will also result in significantly fewer collisions with each other.
