In a few days, the Rock the Hill Festival in the Lower Bavarian bike park at the Geißkopf A new trail was inaugurated: the Uphill Flow Trail is intended to be the counterpart to the existing Flow Country Trail - with the difference that it goes uphill.
The latest generation of e-mountainbikes can (almost) ride downhill like "normal" mountain bikes. But uphill, no regular MTB can hold a candle to an e-bike: No matter how steep, the motor always gives you that extra boost. This also makes uphills fun. To avoid conflicts, Diddie Schneider has built an extra e-bike trail for riding uphill. You can ONLY ride uphill on this trail!
The 2.3-kilometre trail winds its way up the 240 metres in altitude to the Geißkopf mountain station. In turbo mode, you can reach the summit in less than ten minutes. That's faster than the lift (when it's full) and is a lot more fun: the trail winds its way up the mountain in a number of bends and berms, with small jumps and variations in between to spice up the trail. Top!
The main route of the uphill trail is also suitable for beginners, while we recommend the flow country trail downhill. For advanced e-mountain bikers, the trail offers some tricky variants. The downhill freeride and downhill routes are ideal for experts.
