Transalp: Lindau - Locarno
From Lake Constance to Lake Maggiore - a seven-day transalp on completely new trails.
A Transalp route that doesn't take you to Lake Garda in the traditional way, but to Lake Maggiore. That was the idea behind our new Transalp route. After all, we can expect a Mediterranean climate and good food on Lake Maggiore. And we've only had good experiences with the trails in the Ticino mountains so far. We also needed a suitable starting point. We'd like it to be further west than Oberstdorf - Lake Constance! Exactly - from Lake Constance to Lake Maggiore. Or to put it another way: from Lindau to Locarno. That sounds promising and also takes us through beautiful Ticino.
