Castles, palaces, twelve interesting towns and marvellous natural scenery - the Teuto-Ems cross-border route, rated four stars by the ADFC, connects many highlights in Osnabrücker Land, Ostwestfalen-Lippe and Münsterland. If you would like to find out more, read the booklet "Grenzgeschichte(n) entlang der Grenzgängerroute Teuto-Ems". Numerous farm cafés and country inns provide culinary delights in a pleasant atmosphere. Those who prefer to just have a picnic can stock up on fresh fruit, home-baked bread or home-made ham in the farm shops along the way. And if the almost 150 kilometres are too much at once: Two connecting routes make it possible to organise the entire route according to your own ideas, as they shorten the route into three sections, each 50 to 60 kilometres long.
