The perfect mix of activity, discovery and enjoyment.

Get on your bike and get away from it all: between the densely wooded heights of the Hunsrück and the lovely banks of the Nahe, a wide variety of tours await - on flat railway and river cycle paths as well as on sporty laps over hills and through dense forests. In between, regional delicacies, wines full of character and lively hospitality invite you to take enjoyable breaks. Thanks to the rail link between Frankfurt and Saarbrücken and the Hunsrückbahn railway, the region is also easily and sustainably accessible by train. In the wine region on the lower Nahe, day tours lead through idyllic vineyards, past rugged cliffs and along the Nahe and Glan rivers to the most beautiful places to linger. If you want to discover the region in a relaxed way on a multi-day tour, follow the route from Kirn via the romantic old town of Meisenheim, past the impressive Rotenfels massif and through the spa town of Bad Kreuznach to the Rhine and on to the state capital of Mainz. In the National Park region, varied RadLust loops of the Birkenfelder Land await you through tranquil forests and to historical sites. A tour to Lake Bostal via the Sankt Wendeler Land railway cycle path also promises a holiday feeling. The approximately 90-kilometre-long National Park cycle route offers pure nature - ideal for a two-day discovery tour. Sweeping views on the Schinderhannes cycle path, captivating views of the famous Loreley rock in the Middle Rhine Valley, thrills on the Geierlay suspension rope bridge and exciting insights into history characterise the cycle paths in the front Hunsrück around the castle town of Kastellaun.
