Six good cycle routes of varying difficulty levels have been signposted through the Württemberg wine country on the outskirts of the state capital Stuttgart - along orchards, forests and green meadows, past vineyards and through winding villages and small towns.
The main route runs almost without gradients along the Rems from the Neckar Valley cycle path near Remseck to Schwäbisch-Gmünd, where touring cyclists have access to the Swabian Alb long-distance cycle path.
From Winnenden to Fellbach or - for more ambitious cyclists - across the Schurwald mountain range, there is a tour to suit everyone. Pleasure cyclists like to choose the flat Rems Valley cycle path. Six signposted tours with different levels of difficulty are summarised in a folder from the tourism association.
