Get a taste of trail air without worries
Signposted circular tours, beginner-friendly trail sections and a fully equipped base camp: the Rabenberg Trail Centre offers families carefree biking.

Trails are the salt in the mountain bike soup. For beginners and children, however, they can quickly become frustrating. In Rabenberg in the Ore Mountains, biker-friendly trails have been created for this purpose. They are close to nature so as not to destroy the feeling of real mountain biking and experiencing nature. And yet developed enough to keep the flow and joy of riding alive, even for beginners. Children also feel at home on the easy trails. Perfect for families: Mums and dads hungry for kilometres can let off steam on an extra lap while the kids have fun in the sports park at the campsite or one of the playgrounds.

Florentin Vesenbeckh has been on a mountain bike since he was ten years old. Even on his very first tour, he focussed on single trails - and even after more than 30 years in the saddle of an MTB, these are still the quintessence of biking for him. He spent his youth competing in various bike disciplines and later his cycling career was characterised by years as a riding technique coach. Professionally, the experienced test editor now focusses on e-mountainbikes. In recent years, the qualified sports scientist and trained journalist has tested over 300 bikes and more than 40 different motor systems in the laboratory and in practice.
