Once a year, Annette, Kathrin, Fien, Lisa and Karen treat themselves to a girls' holiday. Although they had three days off, they didn't yet have a concrete plan of where to go. The Alps was clear, but where exactly? Fancy names such as the Dolomites, Livigno and South Tyrol were mentioned, but then discarded for various reasons. Until suddenly someone threw the magic word "Karwendel" into the room. Yes, why not?
The German-Austrian mountain range is one of the most beautiful in the Alps. It can be reached from Munich in just under an hour. Normally, we only go there for a day trip and get stuck on the motorway back home in the evening. Immersing ourselves in these striking rock giants for a whole three days, however, sounded exciting.
The five of them travel by train to Lenggries, the starting point of the tour. Two overnight stays at the Falkenhütte and in Kranzbach and countless trail kilometres later, they start their journey home to Munich.
