Germany's longest cycle path

On 07.07.07 the time had come. The longest cycle route in Germany was officially opened in Brandenburg. The 1111-kilometre Tour Brandenburg shows the state in all its facets. Around Berlin, the tour connects nature parks and biosphere reserves, castles and palaces as well as 19 towns with historic city centres. The cycle route can also be divided into individual stages thanks to sensible public transport connections. The circular route also connects all of Brandenburg's major long-distance cycle routes.
