Sunny Lake Constance is one of Germany's favourite cycling regions - and rightly so. But not everyone wants to take on the entire 250-kilometre tour around the lake with passages through Austria and Switzerland. The Untersee in the west is ideal for a one- or two-day taster tour. Starting from Radolfzell or Constance, the 72-kilometre route leads mainly close to the shore, not only to inviting lidos, for example in Wangen and Moos-Iznang, but also to sights such as the St. Georgen Monastery in Stein am Rhein, the Hesse Museum in Gaienhofen and Hegne Castle near Allensbach. If you wish, you can treat yourself to a detour to the UNESCO World Heritage Island of Reichenau.
You can find the GPX track for the cycle tour around Untersee in the MYBIKE Collection on komoot
