Allgäu Cheese Road
From the Alps to Lake Constance is the region's cycling motto. The Allgäu Cheese Road runs through forests and meadows on a network of cycle paths covering more than 220 kilometres. And there's mountain cheese and Allgäu Emmental for refreshment.

There are a total of seven different themed routes in the name of cheese, ranging from 28 to 40 kilometres in length. The tours can also be combined with each other. A bit of fitness in your legs won't do any harm, as the constant up and down hills add up the metres in altitude.
The exercise also works up an appetite for a hearty cheese snack. But it's not all cheese in the West Allgäu. How about the "Cheese and Beer" cycle tour, for example, where you can visit not only rustic inns but also two breweries? Also on the programme along the Allgäu Cheese Route are places worth seeing, such as Isny with its towers and fountains, the old town of Wangen and Lindenberg with its "Cathedral of the Western Allgäu", famous for its windows and frescoes.

A total of seven cycle routes between 28 and 40 kilometres long are available on the subject of "cheese".

Here are the GPX tracks for three themed routes.
