Val di Sole is famous for its gnarly World Cup downhill course. The World Championships will be held here this year (29.8-11.9.2016). World Cup info.
Let's not kid ourselves: This downhill route is too much for most of us. Only real experts should dare to tackle it. In short: experts only and big bikes only. If the track is wet, it gets really criminal. If you want to get an impression, you can find impressive film clips on youtube.

But the valley has much more to offer. In addition to the downhill route in the Daolasa bike park, there are even more moderate routes. For example in the Passo Del Tonale bike park. This is right next door and visitors will find softer freeride routes in alpine terrain. The centrepiece of the Passo Del Tonale bike park is an approximately 7-minute freeride descent through treeless alpine terrain. The route runs on crushed sand and compressed earth and is enriched with wooden ladders, jumps, drops and bridges.
