Tired of cold, wet and grey? Then the Gravel Camp Border Bash Aragon might be just the thing for you. It takes place at the end of April in the north of Spain. The Border Bash Gravel Camps offer beautiful routes, exciting landscapes, fun rides and sociable evenings.
This year there is the option of travelling by bus. Border Bash offers the Border Bash Party Bus with stops in Dresden, Berlin, Hanover, Cologne, Frankfurt, Karlsruhe and Freiburg. Stops can also be added if necessary. A return bus ticket for one person and one bike costs 350 euros.
Grinduro combines a gravel tour with fast segments, similar to those known from enduro races. At the end of the day, it is not the total time that counts, but only the added time on the individual segments. In this way, the organisers create a good party-to-race ratio. But that's not all Grinduro has to offer, because "life is more than riding a bike" is what the event website says, and we can endorse that. That's why Grinduro - and other gravel camps - offer more than just cycling. Parties, craft beer, marshmallows around the campfire and more are on the agenda.
Gravel Fest takes place at different locations every year. The advantage of this is that you can choose the nearest camp or explore a region that you have always wanted to visit. Last year, for example, you had the opportunity to discover the Sauerland. This year, the Harz Mountains are on the programme.

The venue for the Vegan Gravel Camp is the cabin village of Oderbrück in the Harz Mountains. The Cabin is the name of the hut in which the camp participants are accommodated, with space for a total of 50 people. There are three different routes to choose from every day. The whole thing is framed by meditation programmes, yoga and, of course, delicious food. There is a 20 euro discount for those travelling without a car.
The everve Gravel Tour is a one-day event that will take place for the second time on 15 June 2024. Participants can choose between three routes, and it is also possible to cycle alone or join a group with a guide - there are different pace groups for each of these options. So there is something suitable for everyone. There will be refreshments along the way, which are included in the registration fee.
The Bregenzerwald is the place to be at into the wold. Everyone is responsible for their own accommodation - or you can book a package with the hotel of your choice. The centrepiece of the gravel weekend in the Wold - er, forest - is the Gravel Café on the village square in Mellau. Into the wold offers various packages for a day, for the weekend, for cycling or trail running, with or without a hotel. The programme at into the wold is colourful and varied. You can even put together your own individual programme with individual bookings.
Gravel or rave? The Gravity Festival is both. And even more, because the programme includes gravel, parties, workshops and more. What were once distanced coronavirus bike rides, the Orbits, have now evolved into a close-knit get-together. We let the aftermovie of the Gravity Festival 2022 speak for itself:
Not much more than a name is yet known about the Gravel Weekender. A gravel weekend awaits in the beautiful landscape of the Mecklenburg Lake District.
We could copy and paste the text from above and add a sentence. We'll leave out the copy-paste. In 2024, the Gravity Festival in Schlaubetal will be joined by a second Orbit Gravel Festival, which will take place in the Eifel region, more or less near Cologne. We've already shown a festival aftermovie above, so here's the Orbit360 documentary, which is only a few weeks old.
I was there myself in the debut year of the Dreifels Gravel Camp. I really liked the glamping tent, I could easily get used to it. But read for yourself about my impressions and experiences at the Gravel Club's Gravel Camp.
Have you ever been to Bohemian Switzerland or the Elbe Sandstone Mountains? Then we recommend this gravel camp, because the landscape there is unique with its sandstone formations. The Border Bash Camp is very diverse. Playful gravel tours, where you have to play your way to the next part of the route, for example by throwing tyres, or an evening fire show are just two of the camp's attractions. The ultraracers from the Border Bash Race also cross the finish line during the camp. A mixture that ensures excitement and exciting conversations.
One of the highlights of The Gravel Fest Gravel Camps is certainly the Gravel Chase, a kind of snippet hunt on gravel bikes. There is a camping area on the site where you can pitch your own tents, a tent pitch costs 20 euros. A van ticket is available for 30 euros.
The accommodation is a nature friend's house with various, simply furnished rooms. Last year, the Grevet Gravel Camp took place in September. The information for 2024 is still missing. Like all the other gravel camps, the long-distance friends' camp around Grevet offers a varied programme. There are various day tours, but also technical training. Campfire talks and cosy get-togethers are also part of the programme.
