Enjoy cycling on Lake Constance
Many a cycle tour leads through the large apple orchards and vineyards, past historic gems. A taster tip is the Genuss-Veloroute from Romanshorn on the Swiss shore of Lake Constance, which is 37 kilometres long and has an elevation gain of just under 200 metres.

Most of Switzerland's fruit is grown in Thurgau. So it's hardly surprising that the region is nicknamed "apple country" or "cider India". All kinds of culinary delights made from apples are available at the apple farm in Steinebrunn - it really is spelt with an Ö. The Biohof-Beiz in Mausacker and the Seegasthof Schiff in Kesswil also offer unusual refreshment stops. If you want to find out more about apples, you should take a look at the information boards on the apple trail in Altnau. And in summer, the lido in Uttwil tempts you to take a dip in Lake Constance.
